Cette étude CERALE, après avoir souligné le contexte stratégique des Jeux – la quête du Brésil d’un statut de puissance à l’international -, aborde l’initiative gouvernementale mise en place pour inciter les PME brésiliennes à être fournisseurs des Jeux olympiques et paralympiques de Rio 2016. La recherche qualitative déployée auprès de dirigeantes et dirigeants de PME fournisseurs des Jeux montre combien la participation de ces acteurs aux grands événements est une source d’expertise et de légitimité pour les dirigeants et leurs collaborateurs.

“PYMES y grandes eventos: Las Olimpíadas de Rio 2016. Más confianza, más legitimidad y mejor liderazgo»

En el presente estudio CERALE, tras destacar el contexto estratégico de los Juegos -la búsqueda por parte de Brasil de un estatus de potencia internacional-, se examina la iniciativa gubernamental puesta en marcha para animar a las PYME brasileñas a convertirse en proveedoras de los Juegos Olímpicos y Paralímpicos de Río 2016. La investigación cualitativa llevada a cabo con directivos de PYME proveedoras de los Juegos muestra hasta qué punto la participación de estos actores en grandes acontecimientos es una fuente de experiencia y legitimidad para los dirigentes y su equipo.

INSPER Executive MBA European Seminar, Paris & London campuses, April 17-21, 2023

ESCP Business School hosted the INSPER European Seminar, organized for the Executive MBA 2023, April 17-21 .

The program combined classes, visits and meetings:
– A meeting organized at the Brazilian Embassy by the Chambre de Commerce du Brésil en France on the attractiveness of the French market and the peculiarities of operating in France and in Europe, with the participation of Business France Invest, DG Trésor, Banco do Brasil, GV avocats and Natura Europe.

– A visit to Danone’s Innovation Center in Saclay. The rich presentation by Henri Bruxelles – Chief Sustainability & Strategic Business Development Officer – on DANONE’s strategy over the decades, highlighting how the company incorporates the ESG criteria  into its DNA, was followed by a visit to the Center. This journey to the heart of the infinitely small – the bacteria – illustrated the production process of yoghurts in a very lively mode. An amazing way of  understanding how DANONE innovates and customizes its different products according to the markets, always placing health at the center of its strategy.

-In London, an exciting retail safari took place as well as a visit to Lloyds of London.

MSc in International Project Management Latin American Seminar 2023, March 13 – 31

A Latin American Seminar has been organized for the MSc in International Project Management, co-organized with Egade Business School-TEC de Monterrey (Mexico) and INSPER (São Paulo). It has focused on «Trends and Challenges of Developing Business in Mexico & Brazil».

Courses, visits and testimonies allowed a better understanding of the management trends in the two largest economies of Latin America as well as the existing opportunities.

The group has a meeting at the French Embassy in Mexico with Ambassador Jean-Pierre Asvazadourian, Alexis Loyer, Head of the Regional Economic Service and Olivier Pradet, Director of Business France in Mexico.

Le changement de cycle politique au Brésil, avec le retour de Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva à la tête de l’exécutif, crée un tout nouveau cadre pour les relations de la France, voire de l’UE, avec le géant sud-américain.

Le président Lula devrait mettre en œuvre ses promesses de campagne sans compromettre les «fondamentaux» qui font du Brésil un acteur du jeu multilatéral et un partenaire économique de premier plan.

Doing Successful and Responsible Business in Brazil

For the first time, the Executive MBA Emerging Markets Seminar was held on November 8 – 12 both online with Brazil and China, and on-site in Dubai for the Middle East and India.

The Brazilian seminar had been hosted by INSPER and by FGV. The programme of this unique and intense week included lectures, keynote speeches and debates addressing key issues of concern to business leaders, with a particular focus on sustainability.
