INSPER Executive MBA European Seminar, Paris & London campuses, April 17-21, 2023

ESCP Business School hosted the INSPER European Seminar, organized for the Executive MBA 2023, April 17-21 .

The program combined classes, visits and meetings:
– A meeting organized at the Brazilian Embassy by the Chambre de Commerce du Brésil en France on the attractiveness of the French market and the peculiarities of operating in France and in Europe, with the participation of Business France Invest, DG Trésor, Banco do Brasil, GV avocats and Natura Europe.

– A visit to Danone’s Innovation Center in Saclay. The rich presentation by Henri Bruxelles – Chief Sustainability & Strategic Business Development Officer – on DANONE’s strategy over the decades, highlighting how the company incorporates the ESG criteria  into its DNA, was followed by a visit to the Center. This journey to the heart of the infinitely small – the bacteria – illustrated the production process of yoghurts in a very lively mode. An amazing way of  understanding how DANONE innovates and customizes its different products according to the markets, always placing health at the center of its strategy.

-In London, an exciting retail safari took place as well as a visit to Lloyds of London.

MSc in International Project Management Latin American Seminar 2023, March 13 – 31

A Latin American Seminar has been organized for the MSc in International Project Management, co-organized with Egade Business School-TEC de Monterrey (Mexico) and INSPER (São Paulo). It has focused on «Trends and Challenges of Developing Business in Mexico & Brazil».

Courses, visits and testimonies allowed a better understanding of the management trends in the two largest economies of Latin America as well as the existing opportunities.

The group has a meeting at the French Embassy in Mexico with Ambassador Jean-Pierre Asvazadourian, Alexis Loyer, Head of the Regional Economic Service and Olivier Pradet, Director of Business France in Mexico.

INCAE Business School, European Seminar at ESCP : March & November 2022

In 2022, ESCP hosted two European Seminars for the Maestría Ejecutiva in Business Analytics & Data Management of INCAE Business School.

The seminars included lectures given by the ESCP faculty, the testimonies of companies, a round table organized by CERALE and the Economic Chamber of Mexico in France and visits to GLOBANT at Station F and Group CISO.

DOING SUCCESSFUL AND RESPONSIBLE BUSINESS IN BRAZIL, EMBA seminar November 7th-11th

After 2 years of health crisis, the Executive MBA Emerging Markets Seminar was held on November 7 – 11 both on-site in Brazil.
The Brazilian seminar had been hosted by INSPER São Paulo and by FGV Rio de Janeiro. The programme of this unique and intense week included lectures, keynote speeches and debates addressing key issues of concern to business leaders, with a particular focus on sustainability.
This experience included visits to Gerdau unit in SP, the touching social activities performed by Instituto Anchieta Grajau and the Peabiru TCA foundation to boost wellbeing in Grajau district in SP, and concluded in Rio de with the Salgueiro Samba school, showing how passion can be a key driver.
A round table was organnized with Alumni living in Brazil who presented their vision of their Brazilian journey and some highlights regarding their professional, sectorial, cultural or personal insights and experiences: Thibault Sabatier (TOTAL), Arnaud Bert (JCDecaux), Olivier Capoulade (Omens) and Luigi Iervolino (BIP Brazil).

Doing Successful and Responsible Business in Brazil

For the first time, the Executive MBA Emerging Markets Seminar was held on November 8 – 12 both online with Brazil and China, and on-site in Dubai for the Middle East and India.

The Brazilian seminar had been hosted by INSPER and by FGV. The programme of this unique and intense week included lectures, keynote speeches and debates addressing key issues of concern to business leaders, with a particular focus on sustainability.

Specialized Master in Project Management: Latin-American Seminar Nov. 20 – Dec. 14 2018

About twenty participants from the Specialized Master in Project Management visited Mexico, Colombia and Brazil as part of the Latin America Seminar co-organized, as every year, with ESCP Europe’s academic partners. The courses took place at the TEC Monterrey-Campus Santa Fe (Mexico city), the Universidad de los Andes (Bogota) and INSPER (São Paulo).

Various topics were discussed: international strategy, local business environment, local consumer behaviour, entrepreneurial ecosystems, managing projects in emerging economies, supply chain management, …

Meetings with professionals and alumni took place as well as company visits : L’Oréal, Saint-Gobain, Miguel Caballero, Natura, Schneider Electric… 

A pannel session with European managers was organized on «European Entrepreneurs and Brazilian innovation/entrepreneurship eco-system«

Mesa redonda con empresarios y profesionistas latinoamericanos organizada el 23 de octubre de 2018 en ESCP Europe, Campus Montparnasse, con empresarios latinoamericanos y con los participantes del Executive Master in Business Analytics de INCAE Business School, Costa Rica. El evento, fruto de una colaboración entre CERALE y la Cámara Económica de México en Francia (CCMxF), contó con la presentación de cuatro empresas mexicanas con base en París que compartieron sus experiencias en el sector digital. Participaron Gabriela Tristán, CEO de @Wi-voy, Miguel Arias, CEO de Prefixa, Dana Kamalidenova, Account Executive de XIPE Technology y Maurits Montañez, CEO de Manuvo.
