Held various positions in the area of Strategic Planning and elaboration of Scenarios, in organizations such as BNDES, PETROBRÁS, PETROFÉRTIL, BRASPETRO and the Brazilian Nuclear Energy Commission. He was professor of Energy Economics of the Nuclear Engineering program of COPPE/UFRJ (Rio de Janeiro Federal University). He organized and gave several seminars on Scenarios and Strategic Planning in companies, government entities and universities, in addition to participating on various missions abroad.
Areas of interest: Strategic Management, Prospective Planning: Scenarios and Business Strategies, Technology Assessment; Research and Development Planning, Complex Systems Analysis and Multi-Criteria Methods in the Decision-Making Process.
